University of Maragoli Foundation Inc
The University of Maragoli Foundation Inc. is an independent, not for-profit entity dedicated to assisting the University in meeting its current and future needs. Its purpose is to generate support and resources for the University. Established in 2007, the Foundation is committed to raising funds for academic programs, facilities, equipment, student scholarships and professional development for employees. Private contributions ensure that the University is able to keep its promise and pledge of providing increasing academic excellence and expanding business and industry services.
The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax- exempt 501 © (3) organization, devoted to the welfare and future development of the University of Maragoli to deliver new opportunities for higher education to the people of Kenya.
Goals of the Foundation
The University of Maragoli Foundation Inc. is an independent, not for-profit entity dedicated to assisting the University in meeting its future needs by:
Securing private and public funds for student scholarships, employee professional development, program development and capital projects.
Enhancing community awareness of the College and Foundation
Strengthening partnerships between the College, the nation, local communities and businesses
Providing prudent fiscal management of funds and equipment contributed to the Foundation
The Foundation invites individuals, corporation, foundations, and nonprofit patrons of education worldwide to support its commitment to establish unique educational programs and opportunities necessary to adequately address the unmet needs of capable students who are denied opportunities to higher education.
Board of Trustees
The members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors are leaders in business, the professions, or civic affairs. They serve without compensation and because of their commitment to higher education and to the advancement of the University of Maragoli cause. They meet three times a year, traveling at their own expense from all over the USA. They contribute their considerable expertise and give generously of their own resources.
