1guys.jpgThe University of Maragoli planned for a 2010 opening to provide access to higher education to residents of Kenya and beyond, as Centers of Excellence in Education offering undergraduate and graduate education. The University seeks to promote greater participation and understanding of the sciences, and encourages academic excellence for all people. Together, our community of thinkers will foster the social, personal and intellectual development among all who come in contact with the University.

The curriculum will combine innovative, “project-based” educational approaches with traditional methods to prepare students both with fundamental skills, perspectives and concepts, and the ability to use these fundamentals to address real world challenges, especially in the context of contemporary Kenyan society. As a Center for Excellence in Education, University of Maragoli seeks to promote greater participation of underrepresented groups, promotes diversity, and believes in the provision of academic excellence for all. The curriculum embraces the following educational innovations pioneered successfully in universities around the world, though rarely used to their fullest advantage, especially in the developing world where they are arguably most applicable.
